Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify testing needs and ensure automated tests align with the product requirements.
- Review and analyze user stories and requirements for testability.
- Continuously improve and optimize existing automated test frameworks.
- Monitor and report test results, logging defects in the tracking system and ensuring they are followed up on.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to integrate automated testing into continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain best practices for test automation.
- Keep up to date with new tools, techniques, and best practices in automation and testing.
Other Requirements
- Proficiencyin programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, orCircleCI.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in API testing and tools like Postman,RestAssured, or similar.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues in test scripts and automation frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
