Responsibilities

• Standardization & Governance:

  • Develop and enforce enterprise-wide analytics standards, including data definitions, KPIs, reporting conventions, and visualization guidelines.

  • Work with data stewards and business units to ensure consistent data use across the organization.

• Framework & Policy Development:

  • Define and maintain analytics lifecycle frameworks, including intake, validation, documentation, and approval processes.

  • Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Establish processes to validate the accuracy and integrity of analytical outputs and reports.

  • Conduct audits and peer reviews to ensure compliance with established standards.

• Collaboration & Consulting:

  • Act as an internal consultant for cross-functional teams, helping them align projects with analytics standards and best practices.

  • Provide guidance and training to analysts and business stakeholders.

• Tooling & Automation:

  • Collaborate with engineering and BI teams to implement tools and automation that support analytics standardization and governance.

  • Drive adoption of metadata management, version control, and data cataloging tools.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of all standards, policies, and approved KPIs.

  • Report on compliance, gaps, and improvement areas to leadership.

Other Requirements

• 5+ yrs. of overall experience working in web analytics or a related field
  
• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science with equivalent work experience
  
• Solid understanding of online marketing, tools and technology
  
• Strong understanding of HTML and web protocols
  
• Strong-to-advanced JavaScript skills
  
• Passion for the internet domain and use of technology to solve business problems
  
• Solid understanding of general business models, concepts and strategies
  
• Must be self-motivated, responsive, professional and dedicated to customer success
  
• Possess an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset
  
• Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills- both verbal and written
