Responsibilities
- Getting freight rates from overseas agents.
- Giving quotations as per customer requirements.
- Negotiation with agents.
- Finding solutions on vessel schedules.
- Problem-solving of the issues.
- Studying customer requirements.
- Taking rates as per the INCOTERM.
- Updating customers on each shipment's progress till the shipment arrives/is delivered.
Other Requirements
- Candidates from Calicut region are preferred.
- Basic knowledge of import pricing and freight forwarding is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good English fluency in speaking and writing.
- Decision-making skills.
- Any degree related to logistics (preferred).
