Responsibilities

• Cargo Readiness and Coordination:
• Confirm shipment readiness and details with the shipper to ensure timely processing.
• Document Collection and Verification:
• Collect required export documents, including Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, and others, from the shipper.
• Clearance Preparation:
• Submit documents to the clearance broker and verify commodity acceptance for customs clearance.
• Vessel Booking:
• Book the next available vessel as per the customer's preferred shipping line or explore better options.
• Transportation Arrangement (EXW Terms):
• Organize local transport and ensure trucks are placed for loading as needed.
• Shipping Instructions (SI) Management:
• Send the SI format to the customer, collect the completed SI, and submit it to the shipping line before the cut-off date.
• Manifest Processing and Customs Clearance:
• Receive the shipping line's manifest after SI submission and provide it to the clearance broker to facilitate customs clearance and loading permits.

Other Requirements

• Candidates from Calicut region is preferred.
• Experience in freight forwarding Export operations.
• Strong knowledge of international trade and export documentation.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadline.
