Responsibilities
- Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing across different platforms and browsers Incident Management: Monitor and respond to tickets raised by the DevOps team or end-users.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks
- Test both frontend components (developed with ExtJS and Angular) and backend services (Java-based, with Oracle DB integration)
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar
- Detect, document, and track software defects with precise and reproducible test cases
- Work closely with developers to ensure quick issue resolution and retesting of bug fixes
- Participate in code reviews from a testing perspective to identify potential issues early in the development process
- Tool & Platform Support: Manage and troubleshoot CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Other Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in software testing, ideally with web applications
- Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Cypress) and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python)
- Strong knowledge of backend testing with Java and database testing with Oracle DB
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as ExtJS and Angular
- Solid understanding of testing REST APIs and using tools like Postman or Swagger
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking and a detail-oriented, problem-solving approach
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Optional: Experience with our relevant business domain (Automotive / Manufacturing industry, especially production management systems). Familiarity with IT process frameworks SCRUM, ITIL.
