Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Need to focus and prepare mostly breakfast and dinner items
- Ensure high-quality presentation and plating of dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery
- Assist with food preparation, storage, and rotation
- Participate in menu planning and development
- Maintain accurate records of food production, waste, and inventory
Other Requirements
- 2+ years of cooking experience in a hotel or resort setting
- Culinary degree or certification (e.g., CMA, Culinarian)
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and stand for long periods
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation protocols
