Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models for civil utilities, including water distribution, stormwater drainage, sanitary sewer systems, and other utility networks, using Autodesk Civil 3D
• Develop and maintain detailed 3D models for civil infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, land development.
• Create accurate alignments, profiles, pipe networks, grading designs, and cross-sections to meet project requirements.
• Interpret engineering plans and collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure models align with project goals.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts in utility layouts in coordination with other disciplines.
• Prepare construction drawings, as-built documentation, and project deliverables from Civil 3D models.
• Maintain adherence to applicable standards, codes, and specifications for utility design.
• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and support cost estimation efforts.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of all models and drawings through reviews.

Other Requirements

• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D with a strong focus on utility modeling.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Civil engineering, drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in civil utility design or modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of utility systems, including water, stormwater, and sewer design.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
