Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the preparation of periodic financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring actual performance against budgeted figures.

• Accounts Management:

  • Manage accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and collection.
  • Perform bank and other account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

• Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor daily cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts.

• Compliance & Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and company policies.
  • Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure timely payment and filing of statutory dues (TDS, GST, Professional Tax, PF, etc.).

• System & Process Improvement:

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
  • Identify and implement efficiencies in financial workflows.

• Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial insights and provide financial support for operational decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Other Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-4 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
