Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, and SAW on turbine and generator components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
• Prepare parts for welding using grinding and chamfering machines.
• Ensure welds meet quality standards by following WPS, PQR, and WPQ procedures.
• Handle heavy fabrication welding tasks, especially on joints 40 mm thickness.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, reporting any hazards immediately.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
• Foster a respectful and inclusive work environment and support team collaboration.

Other Requirements

• Experience: 3-7 years in heavy fabrication welding
• Education: ITI Welder (Mandatory) / Diploma in Mechanical or Welding Technology
• Proficient in groove welding (T-joint, Corner, Knuckle, Butt)
• Solid understanding of WPS/PQR/WPQ/Weld Book documentation
• Strong awareness of safety protocols and compliance
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Candidates from Power, Heavy Engineering, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing industries preferred
• Willing to work in Sanand, Gujarat
