We’re looking for a passionate MERN Stack Developer to help us build and scale our Shopify SaaS applications. You’ll be responsible for developing robust features end-to-end using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You’ll work closely with our product and design teams to deliver seamless, high-performance user experiences. This role also offers the opportunity to shape our codebase, influence architecture decisions, and grow into a core engineering leader as we scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Work with our product and design teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and backend services.
• Participate in agile development: sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Debug and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks in production.
• Contribute ideas and improvements to elevate product quality and team efficiency.

Other Requirements

• 1–4 years of hands-on experience with the MERN stack in real-world applications.
• Strong proficiency in React.js and Node.js with clear understanding of component design and API integration.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, Express.js, Git workflows, and debugging tools.
• Sound understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn quickly.
• A team player who can take ownership and deliver without micromanagement.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Good understanding of AI tools and hands-on experience in creating secure and scalable code.

Good to have

• Experience with Remix, Next.js, or TypeScript.
• Previous work on Shopify apps or eCommerce platforms.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, or cloud hosting (like Vercel or AWS).
• Contributions to open-source or side projects.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques.
