Responsibilities

• Work closely with design and marketing teams to implement visually appealing and user-friendly eCommerce websites on Shopify.
• Customize and modify existing Shopify themes to align with brand guidelines.
• Develop custom Shopify themes, templates, and components based on project requirements.
• Optimize website performance for speed, responsiveness, and SEO readiness.
• Integrate third-party applications and plugins to extend Shopify functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payment gateways, integrations, and site features.
• Stay up to date with the latest Shopify trends, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

Other Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience, including theme customization, app integration, and performance optimization.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language.
• Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and server architecture (Apache/Nginx).
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js is a plus.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows.
• Problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.
