Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze product costing reports for existing and new products.
- Conduct product-based cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Work closely with the production, purchase, and finance teams to gather cost data and validate accuracy.
- Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs associated with product manufacturing.
- Assist in preparing budget vs. actual cost comparisons and variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate costing records in compliance with accounting standards.
- Support management in pricing decisions with cost insights.
Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Cost Accounting, or a related field (CMA is a plus).
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in product costing and cost analysis.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
