Responsibilities

• Coordinates or installs, inspects, repairs and maintains the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems in the facility·
• Perform the more technical and complex tasks of the work unit.
• Inspects buildings and property for inventory or maintenance and repair purposes.
• Do general repair Jobs.
• Maintain detailed records of electrical work·
• Operates machinery and equipment such as Generators in case of power loss, pumping of water to tanks etc.
• Operates and maintain the ETP system for more efficient treatment of waste water.
• Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems and equipment required to operate those systems such as water mains and sanitary.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly maintenance of the air ventilation systems within the organization·
• Complete regular scheduled checks on mechanical, electrical and operations services equipment etc.
• Be able to respond to breakdown situations or emergency maintenance situations with the ability to manage a safe and effective response to isolate, repair and make good the issues identified.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly and other regular maintenance services actions, ensuring accurate records of information and works are completed.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers in your designated areas of responsibility and ensure operational standards are maintained by those contractors/suppliers.
• The ability to work in confined workspaces; work at height and within mechanical and electrical plant rooms safely.
• Maintain effective communication at all times, ensuring that all information is shared with relevant staff.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all Association personnel.
• Provide regular feedback to line manager ensuring they are advised of all developments and problems within areas of responsibility.
• Develop and deliver effective standard operating procedures and reporting for all main Facilities functions.
• Ensure all maintenance works are carried out to the highest possible standard·
• To be available to respond to out of hours calls on days off, holidays and non-scheduled works hours to respond to and support Operations requirements.
• Where essential this requires site operation attendance to deal with major issues.

Other Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in MEP supervision or related technical role (mandatory).

• Good working knowledge of ETP systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical operations.

• Ability to handle machinery and respond effectively during emergencies.

• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage a small maintenance team.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
