Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling, routing, and vehicle allocation.

• Manage maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing of all vehicles to minimize downtime.

• Monitor and control fuel consumption to ensure cost efficiency and budget adherence.

• Coordinate with drivers regarding trip schedules, deliveries, and logistics requirements.

• Liaise with vendors and suppliers for spare parts, repairs, and logistics services.

• Implement and maintain a time management mechanism for on-time deliveries and operations.

• Maintain accurate records for all transportation, shipping, and delivery activities.

• Ensure compliance with transportation policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.

• Prepare and submit fleet performance and expense reports to management.

• Lead, guide, and motivate the transport team to achieve operational goals effectively.

Other Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in fleet or transportation management.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Proven team management and leadership ability.

• Sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance and logistics operations.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office / fleet management software preferred.
