We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our dynamic Sales Department comprising 180+ employees, including Business Development Executives, Team Leaders, Business Development Managers, and Training Managers.

The HRBP will act as the key link between the HR team and the sales workforce—driving engagement, ensuring compliance, supporting performance, and nurturing a high-retention, high-performance culture across the sales organization.

Responsibilities

People & Performance Management

  • Monitor and support performance management for all sales employees, including KPI tracking, PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) initiation, and terminations where necessary.
  • Collaborate with the HR Head and Sales Head to implement fair and data-backed performance processes.
  • Assist in aligning team and individual performance with organizational sales goals.

Engagement, Retention & Culture

  • Design and execute engagement initiatives, contests, and recognition programs specific to the sales workforce.
  • Develop and drive strategies to increase retention, reduce attrition, and promote cultural alignment across distributed teams (office + remote).
  • Conduct exit analysis and provide actionable insights on attrition trends to leadership.
  • Organize sales-specific events and celebrations that boost motivation and team spirit.

Employee Relations & Grievance Handling

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues, ensuring fairness, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Maintain a strong on-ground presence to understand team dynamics and resolve issues proactively.

HR Operations & Coordination

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding for sales employees to ensure a smooth employee lifecycle.
  • Partner with payroll and finance teams to support timely and accurate processing of sales incentives, commissions, and reimbursements.
  • Maintain updated HR data for the sales team and ensure compliance with HR policies and labor laws.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Create and present regular HR dashboards and reports for the Sales Head and HR leadership, covering key metrics such as:
  • Attrition rate
  • Attendance and unauthorized leave
  • Engagement scores
  • Sales performance correlation
  • Training completion and participation
  • Use insights from data to recommend initiatives that drive productivity and engagement.

Learning & Development Support

  • Coordinate with the L&D and Sales Training Managers to execute development initiatives and track participation.
  • Encourage a continuous learning mindset within the sales team through HR-led initiatives and support programs.

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an HRBP or similar role, preferably supporting large, target-driven teams.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, employee engagement, and performance management processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to connect with sales employees, understand their psychology, and drive motivation through meaningful interventions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid environment with both on-site and remote teams.
