Responsibilities

1. Installation: Install and configure network equipment such as routers, switches, and access points, as well as CCTV systems including cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related components.

2. Wiring: Run and terminate network cables (Ethernet, fiber optic) and power cables for CCTV cameras, ensuring proper routing, termination, and cable management.

3. Configuration: Set up network parameters, IP addresses, VLANs, and routing protocols to establish connectivity and optimize network performance. Configure camera settings, video recording schedules, and motion detection parameters for CCTV systems.

4. Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as firmware updates, software patches, and equipment inspections to ensure the reliability and functionality of network and CCTV systems.

5. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues such as connectivity problems, packet loss, and network congestion, as well as CCTV system issues including camera malfunctions, recording failures, and video playback issues.

6. Security: Implement security measures to protect network infrastructure and CCTV systems against unauthorized access, cyber threats, and physical tampering. Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.

7. Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation including network diagrams, equipment inventory, installation records, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference and auditing purposes.

8. Customer Support: Provide technical support and assistance to clients, end-users, and internal stakeholders regarding network and CCTV system operation, troubleshooting, and configuration.

9. Project Management: Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to plan and execute network and CCTV installation projects within budget and timeline constraints.
