Responsibilities

  1. Setting Sales Targets: Establishing achievable sales objectives for the team, based on market analysis, previous sales data, and company goals.

  2. Developing Sales Strategies: Creating strategies to promote the sale of vehicles, such as advertising campaigns, promotional events, and special offers.

  3. Managing Sales Team: Recruiting, training, and supervising sales staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively sell vehicles.

  4. Monitoring Sales Performance: Tracking sales metrics and KPIs to evaluate the performance of the sales team and individual salespeople. This includes analyzing sales reports, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

  5. Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. This involves handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing exceptional customer service.

  6. Inventory Management: Overseeing the management of vehicle inventory, including ordering new vehicles, managing stock levels, and ensuring the proper display and merchandising of vehicles on the sales floor.

  7. Financial Management: Managing budgets, forecasting sales revenue, and controlling expenses to ensure profitability.

  8. Staying Informed: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

  9. Compliance: Ensuring that all sales activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including vehicle registration, licensing, and consumer protection laws.

  10. Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as marketing, finance, and service to coordinate efforts and achieve overall business objectives.
